A number of provinces and territories have developed their own biodiversity strategies and action plans, and others still are in the process of developing them. These provincial and territorial strategies provide opportunities for planning and dialogue across jurisdictions as well as monitoring and reporting of progress against Canada's biodiversity outcomes.
